- 4 hot dogs
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon butter
- Optional toppings: ketchup, mustard, relish, chopped onions
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the hot dogs lengthwise but not all the way through, then stuff each with a slice of cheese.
- Butter the insides of the buns lightly.
- Place the hot dogs inside the buns and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Put the assembled hot dogs in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the buns are crispy and cheese is melted.
- Remove and add optional toppings before serving.
