- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add beef chunks and brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Stir in paprika and cook for 1 minute.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Return beef to the pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
