Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of red wine of your choice (a fruity Merlot or Cabernet works great)
- 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup or melted dark chocolate
- Fresh berries or blackberries (for garnish)
- Red food coloring (optional, for an extra creepy effect)
- Candy eyes or gummy worms (optional, for extra spookiness)
Instructions
- Start by chilling your glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes to keep the milkshake cold and attractive.
- In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, red wine, and, if desired, a few drops of red food coloring and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into the chilled glasses gently. Garnish with fresh berries, gummy worms, or candy eyes for a spooky touch. Drizzle with extra chocolate syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute red wine with grape or pomegranate juice.
- To enhance the spooky effect, add edible glitter or dry ice carefully (use gloves and proper handling).
- Serve immediately for best texture, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 24 hours. Re-blend before serving.
