- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup bourbon BBQ sauce (preferably bourbon-flavored)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Additional BBQ sauce for glazing
- Shredded cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or greasing.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients well.
- Divide the meat mixture evenly and press each portion into muffin cups to form cupcakes. Top each with a spoonful of BBQ sauce and shredded cheese if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, brush the cupcakes with additional BBQ sauce for a glazed finish.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then serve hot with your favorite sides.

- For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
- Add diced jalapeños or chopped herbs for extra flavor.
- Vary BBQ sauces (hickory, spicy) to change the flavor profile.
