- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1 cup Lifesavers candy (or similar candy for layering)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the graham cracker base by crushing the graham crackers into fine crumbs and mixing them with melted butter and brown sugar.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and dark rum, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
- Spread the graham cracker base in a greased baking dish, layer with Lifesavers, and drizzle the butter rum mixture on top.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Optionally sprinkle chocolate chips before finishing baking.
Notes
- Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze and allow to come to room temperature before serving.
