Scale
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt

- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each into a bite-sized ball.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then add baking soda.
- Boil the pretzel bites in batches for about 30 seconds each, then transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure water is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast properly.
- You can add toppings like shredded cheese or sesame seeds before baking.
