Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry and season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, chili flakes, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
- Pour the glaze over the pork chops, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 3-4 minutes, flipping once to coat evenly.
- Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
- Use thick-cut pork chops for juicier results.
- Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even browning.
- Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
- Let the pork chops rest before serving for maximum tenderness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
