Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, grated cheese, softened butter, cayenne pepper, and salt. Blend until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gather the mixture to form a dough, roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut the rolled-out dough into strips approximately 1 inch wide and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.
