Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices of crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade dough
- Optional toppings: pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
- Divide the meat mixture into equally sized portions. Flatten each into a small disc. Place shredded cheese and crumbled bacon in the center of each disc.
- Gently pull the edges of the meat around the filling to form a ball, sealing in the cheese and bacon inside.
- Wrap each meat ball with biscuit dough or homemade dough, pinching seams to seal completely.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the wrapped bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. For extra crispiness, use an air fryer if desired.
Notes
- Make ahead: assemble the bombs and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
- For gluten-free options, use gluten-free biscuit dough or wrap in lettuce leaves.
- Customize with different cheeses or add jalapeños for extra flavor.
