Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pickles, ketchup, mustard for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef with chopped onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese into the beef mixture.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and flatten into small patties. Add extra cheese if desired, then wrap around to form a sealed ball.
- Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each meatball tightly with a bacon piece, securing with toothpicks if needed.
- Cook in preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crispy or in an air fryer at 380°F (193°C) for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway.
Notes
- Seal the cheese well inside to prevent leakage during cooking.
- Use thick-cut bacon for a crispier exterior.
- Adjust seasonings or experiment with different cheese types for variety.
- For vegetarian options, substitute with plant-based meat and vegan cheese.
