- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (about 32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a large baking dish or casserole pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Once partially cooked, spread the frozen tater tots evenly over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with ketchup or BBQ sauce if desired.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the tater tots are crispy and the cheese is bubbly. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
