- 1 cup warm water (110Β°F to 115Β°F)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon (plus more for sprinkling)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 packet (2 ΒΌ teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the mixture to the bread machine pan. Incorporate softened butter, followed by the bread flour. Make a well in the center and add the yeast.
- Once the initial mixing cycle completes, open the lid and fold in the raisins.
- Close the lid, set the bread machine to ‘Sweet Bread’, and start the baking cycle.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
- For serving, toast and add butter or use it in French toast.
- Substitute whole wheat flour for a denser loaf or add nuts for crunch.
