- 2-3 tablespoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter and cut in with a pastry cutter or fingers until mixture resembles crumbly sand.
- Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
- On a floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle evenly over dough.
- Roll up tightly starting from the shorter side to form a log.
- Slice into 1-inch rounds and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk to make icing, drizzle over warm cookies. Serve and enjoy!
