Ingredients
Scale
- 500g ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional for flavor)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small, flat discs about 1 inch thick using clean hands.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook the rissoles for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from skillet and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides or in a bun for a quick meal.
Notes
- For healthier cooking, use an air fryer instead of frying in oil for extra crunch.
- Add fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for extra flavor.
- You can substitute ground turkey for chicken for a different taste.
