- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons cold butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Gradually add to dry ingredients until just combined.
- In another small bowl, prepare the crumble topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cold butter until crumbly.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with crumble topping.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to the dough.
- Ensure butter is cold for a flaky crumble topping.
