Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Add garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper and mix until well combined.
- Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, roll portions of the cheese mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. In another dish, beat the egg. Dip each cheese ball into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the coated cheese balls on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and heated through.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for even baking.
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Add a pinch of cayenne for heat if desired.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
