Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of pureed pumpkin with 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour. Mix until well incorporated. Add spices if desired and stir gently to form a smooth batter.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a donut pan or silicone mold.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared mold, filling each cavity about ¾ full. Smooth the tops if needed.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: drizzle with glaze or dust with powdered sugar for extra flavor and presentation.
