Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the all-purpose flour and baking powder to the mashed bananas, stirring until well combined. The batter should be thick but scoopable.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion the batter into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
- Place the batter balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Optionally, use a donut hole pan for traditional shape.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden on top.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm for best flavor.
Notes
- Optional toppings include cinnamon, chocolate chips, or nuts.
- For gluten-free versions, use a gluten-free flour blend.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
