Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Use your hands or a large spoon to mix all ingredients together until well combined.

Notes
- Don’t overmix the meat mixture to prevent a tough meatloaf.
- Use good quality ground beef and cheese for best flavor.
- Add diced vegetables for extra nutrition.
- Experiment with different types of cheese.
- Let casserole rest for about 10 minutes after baking before serving.
