- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet (about 15 oz) refrigerated crescent dough or puff pastry
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll out pastry dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the dough, then roll tightly into a log.
- Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped cooked bacon or green onions.
- Best enjoyed warm, but can be reheated in the oven.
