- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Rinse and trim green beans, then cook until tender-crisp in boiling water or microwave.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked green beans, mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper; mix until smooth.
- Spread the mixture in a baking dish and top with two-thirds of the fried onions.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Fresh green beans are best, but frozen can be used if drained well.
- Experiment with different cream soups for varied flavors.
- Add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes for extra spice.
