- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, then transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare gravy: in the skillet, whisk flour into beef broth, cook until thickened. Pour over meatballs before serving.
- Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, garlic, and herbs. Season to taste.

- Can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
