- 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- Mix tomato puree, heavy cream, onion, garlic, butter, spices, salt, and pepper in a bowl and pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Shred chicken slightly and stir to coat in sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken with spices overnight before slow cooking.
- Serve with naan or basmati rice for a complete meal.
