- 1 box stove top stuffing (chicken or turkey flavor)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ketchup or BBQ sauce for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until ingredients are well incorporated.
- Transfer mixture to a loaf pan or baking dish. Shape into a loaf and smooth the top. Optionally, spread ketchup or BBQ sauce over the top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-55 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Alternatively, cook in a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with sides like broccoli pasta or roasted vegetables.
