- 2 cups fresh or frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook peas until tender, about 2-3 minutes for fresh peas or 4-5 minutes for frozen.
- Drain peas and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add cooked peas back into the pot, season with salt and pepper, and toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For a creamier version, mix in a splash of cream or grated Parmesan.
