- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together and combine with the wet ingredients until smooth.
- Grease and flour two round cake pans and divide the batter evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost the top of one cake layer and place the second layer on top. Cover the whole cake with buttercream frosting.
- Decorate with edible flowers and glitter to add that elegant touch.
