- 1 cup tequila blanco
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- Ice cubes
- Salt for rimming glass
Instructions
- Prepare the glass by rubbing lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt set on a plate.
- In a shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, honey, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Add ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and lime wedge. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or agave syrup.
- For a smoky twist, use mezcal instead of tequila.
