- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup cooked ground beef, seasoned
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut into triangles or rectangles.
- Spread a layer of seasoned cooked ground beef over each pastry piece.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Roll or fold the pastry as desired, sealing the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Serve warm with a side salad or dipping sauce. You can add sautéed onions or peppers for extra flavor.
