- 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate chicken with yogurt, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add onions, garlic, and ginger, sauté until softened.
- Add spices; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add marinated chicken, cook until no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Adjust spice level by adding chili powder if desired.
