- 200g sweet potato starch noodles (japchae noodles)
- 200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the sweet potato noodles in boiling water for 6-8 minutes, drain, and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add beef slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add bell peppers and carrots, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and green onions. Toss everything to combine well and heat through.
- Serve hot garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
- Use thinly sliced beef for quicker cooking.
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for a vegetarian version.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste for desired saltiness.
