- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked BBQ chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup honey BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until mixture thickens.
- Add shredded cheese, Parmesan, honey BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Mix in cooked macaroni and shredded BBQ chicken until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra smoky flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika.
- You can substitute traditional chicken with grilled or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
