Ingredients

  • For the Dough: All-purpose flour, warm milk, granulated sugar, active dry yeast, unsalted butter, egg, salt.

  • For the Glaze: Powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by activating yeast in warm milk with sugar. Mix in melted butter, egg, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  2. Make the blueberry filling by cooking blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon until thickened.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the blueberry filling evenly, then roll tightly into a log. Slice into even pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  4. Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
