- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 teaspoons milk
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or fingers to blend until coarse crumbs form.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs with vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined. Fold in diced apples gently.
- Prepare crumb topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Pour batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle crumb topping over the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While baking, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon until smooth for the drizzle.
- Allow cake to cool slightly, then drizzle the cinnamon glaze on top. Let it cool completely for the topping to set.
