- 1 sheet of pre-made pie crust
- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into rounds using a cookie cutter or glass.
- In a bowl, mix apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Place a spoonful of apple filling onto each crust round.
- Fold the crust over, pinch the edges to seal, and cut small slits on top for steam to escape.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

- Use tart apples like Granny Smith for the best flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for 2 days.
