- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spread rinsed rice in a 9×13 inch baking dish.

- Sear the seasoned chicken in olive oil until lightly browned, then spread it over the rice.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture, cover with foil, and bake for 45-50 minutes until rice is tender and chicken is cooked through.
- Remove foil for the last 10 minutes of baking for a slightly browned top.
- Let rest before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- Add chopped vegetables like broccoli for extra nutrients.
- Try different herbs such as thyme or rosemary for added flavor.
- For a cheesy variation, sprinkle shredded cheese before the end of baking.
- Add a little heat with red pepper flakes if desired.
- Make it creamy by mixing in cream of mushroom or chicken soup with broth.
