- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cancream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until tender, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed vegetables, mushroom soup, milk, cheese (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish, top with crispy fried onions.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

- Feel free to add a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
