  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté sliced mushrooms, chopped onions, and minced garlic in a skillet with a little oil until golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the cooled mushroom mixture and shredded Swiss cheese. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 50-60 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  4. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides.
