Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
Instructions
- Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil while mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
- While the dough is rising, prep your toppings by slicing vegetables and arranging them with meats.
- After the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and arrange desired toppings.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
Notes
- Leftover pizza can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
- If using store-bought dough, it can save time while still delivering great taste.
- For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding sauce and toppings.
- Experiment with different sauces and toppings for unique variations.
