- 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, and spices, then coat chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve warm with rice or naan.
Notes
- For a smokier flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika.
- Use full-fat yogurt for creamier sauce.
