Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)
- 1 cup fresh lettuce or spinach leaves
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until tender and golden brown, about 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Lay a large flour tortilla flat on a surface. Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto the center. Top with lettuce or spinach and cilantro if using.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom to enclose all filling, creating a wrap.
- Slice diagonally if desired and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or side salad.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding other cheeses like mozzarella or Monterey Jack.
- Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in foil in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10 minutes or microwave for 1-2 minutes.
- You can freeze the wraps for longer storage, but texture may change.
