  • 1 (24 ounce) jar of marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. If using frozen ravioli, cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and mix with ricotta, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli mixture, followed by half of the marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
