- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 cup jasmine or white rice
- 1 cup mixed chopped vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add ground turkey, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in soy sauce and honey, cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Meanwhile, stir-fry vegetables in a separate pan until tender.
- Assemble bowls with rice, ground turkey, and vegetables. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or brown sugar.
- You can substitute ground chicken or beef for turkey.
- Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or a fresh salad for extra greens.
