Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound egg noodles
- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked egg noodles, shredded turkey, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and frozen mixed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper, mixing well.
- Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and melted butter. Sprinkle this over the casserole. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- Add different vegetables like peas, carrots, or green beans for extra nutrients and flavor.
- Use different cheeses such as mozzarella or provolone for a unique twist.
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or some diced jalapeños.
- If you don’t have leftover turkey, ground turkey works just as well!
- To make it even quicker, use pre-cooked noodles or frozen vegetables.
