Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds ground chicken
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan. Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle it over the top of the chicken loaf.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Don’t overmix the chicken mixture to avoid a tough loaf.
- Let the loaf rest before slicing to retain moisture.
