- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by measuring out all components.
- Sauté the minced garlic and ginger in sesame oil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper, stirring well. For a thicker sauce, add dissolved cornstarch and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Let the sauce cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
- Can be refrigerated for up to one week or frozen in ice cube trays for longer storage.
- Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste by modifying sugar or soy sauce amounts.
