- 1 package (8 oz) crescent dough
- 1 lb cooked turkey, shredded
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Unroll crescent dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a large circle, sealing edges.
- In a bowl, mix shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, herbs, and half of the cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the dough inside the circle, leaving a border.
- Gently fold the outer edges of the dough over the filling, overlapping slightly, to form a ring.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with extra herbs, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- You can prepare the filling ahead and assemble just before baking.
- Try adding chopped nuts or a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
