Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup prepared stuffing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or sage for added flavor
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). For a crispy top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Notes
- Use lean ground turkey for a healthier option.
- Add a tablespoon of ketchup or BBQ sauce to enhance moisture and flavor.
- Let the meatloaf rest 5 minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.
