- 1.5 lbs ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped herbs, grated cheese, or vegetables for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Soak breadcrumbs in milk until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, soaked breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture to a greased loaf pan or baking dish. Shape into an even loaf.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Brush additional ketchup or sauce on top during the last 10 minutes if desired.
Notes
- Ensure not to overmix the meatloaf mixture to keep it tender.
- You can add chopped herbs or vegetables for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days or frozen for 3 months.
