- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm water (110°F)
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup sliced pepperoni
- ¼ cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt, and warm water in a large mixing bowl. Knead until smooth, cover, and let rise for about an hour.
- Punch down the risen dough, transfer to a floured surface, and roll out until approximately 12 inches in diameter.
- Place rolled-out dough onto a greased pizza pan and spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over the base.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, add pepperoni and jalapeños, and optional crushed red pepper or hot sauce.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freeze pizza for up to a month; reheat in the oven until hot.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and a salad for the ultimate combo.
