Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Dip each chicken piece into the beaten egg, then coat it generously in the flour mixture. For extra crispiness, toss the coated chicken in cornstarch before frying.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot (around 350°F), carefully add the chicken pieces in batches, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan. Fry for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes). Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Transfer the saucy chicken to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
